Transforming Spaces with Cassidy Preschool at SHIELDS for Families

At Do Good Bus, we love partnering with groups who are passionate about giving back, and our recent ride with the incredible teachers from Cassidy Preschool was no exception! This dedicated group joined us for a day of community service at SHIELDS for Families, bringing their enthusiasm and teamwork to transform the spaces and uplift spirits.

Making a Positive Impact Together

Even with the sun shining brightly overhead, the Cassidy Preschool team remained energetic and focused on the task. The teachers were divided into three groups—builders, painters, and organizers—each taking on a project that would leave a lasting impact on the SHIELDS community.

• Builders
  The builders meticulously assembled desks that will provide essential workspaces for SHIELDS staff and families. Their attention to detail and collaborative spirit turned piles of parts into fully functional desks, creating a tangible contribution that will support the organization’s mission.

• Painters
  Adding vibrant colors to rooms, the painters brought life and warmth to the spaces. Their creativity and teamwork transformed these areas into welcoming environments, perfect for the families and staff who will use them.

• Organizers
  Tackling a shed filled with supplies, the organizers reimagined the space, turning it into a well-ordered storage area. Their dedication to creating order out of chaos was truly inspiring and will make a big difference in the day-to-day operations at SHIELDS.
